Well thank you ClownShark! We wen't to NISS (Nordic institute for stage and studio) in Oslo, Norway, our teacher was Jim Udenberg, he used to work at Universal Studios before he moved to Norway with his wife... It was probably the best year I've ever had!!!

Actually, in a second thought, I do want to study overseas, and USA is one of my first choices if I'll be able to do it, maybe I'm allowed to compete in the face off competition? Might be worth a shot... :)

Oh yes, I absolutely love the show! I wish I lived in the US so I could try out for it... But I don't think I'm allowed to (or any others in the group) because we're not americans...

I don't know. I just checked the site at this link --> [link] they said that info about entering will be posted soon, So I'd keep checking that, they also said that there is a g-mail account that you can e-mail and they'll tell you when info comes up. Check it out! Once they post the rules/ terms/ whatever you can see if you guys can!

Well I think the main problem is that we're not in the US. I'm norwegian, and I don't think people ouside of America is allowed to be contestants in face off. But I would absolutely have loved to compete though... :)

Oh, yes indeed, she is as real as you and me... She is covered by foam latex masks and acrylic paint, and it has taken almost 3 months to make it all, 9 hours of application and painting... :)

We started working on the character early in march, in week 10. We made the design, sculpted the pieces, casted them in foam latex, and then we started applying the prosthetics about 4 am on thursday, and I think we were done gluing it on and colouring at 11 am, so that is about 7 hours, maybe a little more. This is also the first time we applied and made prosthetics on the whole upper body rather than just the head, so I think we'll use slightly less time the next time...
